Almost $220! Who says there's no money in comics. I was on the hunt for Crickets 2 for a while so I have all these ebay records in my gmail. Was a little obsessed so kept the ebay alert going after I got mine just to follow the stats. A copy sold just last year for $80, a few months before that for $45. There were a few selling at $40 each for a while around 2020. Wild to see it shoot up like this...! |

I wonder if it's a mix of factors, including that BOTV just ended and a hundred people shared these auctions on social media and here. Seems like these ones are getting way more attention -- Lose No. 1 has regularly been at $150 for a couple years and this copy sold for $255. |

I mean, maybe it is not that expensive for what it is, but I am bummed it is sooo expensive for my pocket .

For what it's worth, they'll probably be offering it up at a decent discount during their annual sale in November. Considering I still have the stack of floppity mags, and the the originl run of 15 trades, and what I imagine is a good bit of what will comprise the extras, I'm still (pre) haunted by what all fun I'll be missing out on when I inevitably skip this triple-dip opportunity.
