I saw that on Reddit and thought, man, someone's been reading their Stang. D'oh. Is there a specific Reddit that's good for sharing this kind of stuff?

This one's good for non-genre, alternative stuff. It's fairly busy, too: www.reddit.com/r/altcomix/For indie genre and alternative: www.reddit.com/r/noDCnoMarvel/For indie genre: www.reddit.com/r/indiecomics/For zines: www.reddit.com/r/zines/Ta-da! EDIT: I should just add, some users think posting the same content across multiple subreddits is bad form. Also, if you have a poke around, you'll get an idea of what kind of work goes down well on what subreddit. So, there.

New book from Simon Moreton - seems like it will be a mix of prose, images, and comics like his last book WHERE?. I really liked that one, I suspect I'll really like this one. Simon's earlier, more explicitly comics work is very precious to me but he's really treading unique ground with this more recent way of working. There's a collage-like approach to both his sequencing and the way he links ideas together, extremely compelling. smoo.bigcartel.com/product/now-is-the-time

Still waiting for the online store update where these things are actually available but Molly O'Connell has announced she's gonna have new minicomics debuting at TCAF and I'm pretty excited about that. She's gonna be tabling with Conor Stechschulte who also has a new book (not comics, but risographed xerox collages) which will likely be good as fuck. Chris Day hasn't announced via Instagram he'll have a new book yet, but he probably will, and he'll be tabling with them too.

Man, Pettinger's been hitting that sweet spot lately. His development over the last couple years is just incredible.

I'll be so curious to see whether and how quickly this new Hanselmann comic sells out. It's an edition of 2,000, and it's going for $12 -- a pretty ambitious offering!

Well, his last split-zine thingy with Pettinger sold out 800 copies in a few days, so I'd be optimistic. I can't remember how much that one cost, though.

So I'm sure people will be all over it. But I'm not sure Simon expects it to sell out, at least not quickly, because I think he's combating the eBay gouging that happens with his stuff. If the demand is there he should get as much of that money as he can.
