I'm heading out to paris tomorrow and figured it would be a good idea to ask the bubbles fanzine forum braintrust if anyone knew any great bookstores/shops/places to check out?

Others on here will have more to say ( teemcgee? whitecomics?), but as far as comics go, I thought Aaapoum Bapoum on Rue Serpente was downright delightful. I also liked Librairie Opera BD in the Bastille area, though it's a lil tiny shop. If it helps, there were some more answers that sounded good in this Reddit thread when I asked last summer: https://www.reddit.com/r/bandedessinee/comments/o01ypf/paris_comic_shop_recommendations/

Yeah, I'm with grubcubman, the Aaaapoum Bapoum on Rue Serpente (not the one on Rue Dante) is definitely my favourite.
Around the corner from that is Un Regard Moderne, no longer the intimidating ovestocked warren of old, but should have some stuff of interest. Librarie Super Heroes specialises in bookplate (ex libris) editions if that's of interest - and doesn't really stock much of what the name would suggest.

Replying late here, but another suggestion is visiting one or more among the handful of comics-focused galleries in the city -- Glenat has a small one, Galerie Martel is well known for representing several great cartoonists, Galerie du 9ieme art and Galerie barbier are both good. All exhibition focused, so I'd look online beforehand to be sure you're interested in what they're showing.

Bumping this thread as I am leaving the country for the first time in my sheltered little life. On the lookout for comix/art/books/records/cheap eats. Spots above noted.
Barcelona recs welcome, too– maybe that's a different thread...

As long as you're near the Rue Serpentine Aaboum location (and why wouldn't you be) there's a half dozen shops worth at least a quick visit in a 2-3 block radius. The second Aaboum location, a manga focused shop, a large Bouliner (used book chain) that sometimes has good comics, and of course Un Regarde Moderne as mentioned above.

Max look at whatever issue I said above, pretty sure that paris comic shop overview is still relevant. Have fun!!!

Barcelona recs welcome, too– maybe that's a different thread... Go to Fatbottom Books, at Carrer de la Lluna, 21.
And if you are carrying zines with you I am sure Nico from Fatbottom would be happy you drop there some of your zines. (I would be too, so I can finally get them!).

Okay it's in issue #5: - Galerie Arts Factory is a art book/comic store and gallery, they had great stuff. Le Dernier Cri and more - BDNET Bastille is nearby Galerie Arts Factory and had more like normal stuff but still was worth a look - Une Regard Moderne is the small weird kinda legend shop (I think). Run by a nice old guy who was a head. - Aapoum Bapoum is nearby Une Regard Moderne and is a great all over shop with older stuff, i didn't even make it in the basement. A must go to shop.

great looking haul. That Claveloux book is way smaller than I thought it would be.
