Fun thread. I'll contribute, but probably not anything from the past 10 years or so. After 5-10 years, I agree time to share (usually). It is a shame that some of the greatest comics made are out of print and you couldn't buy them even if you waved $100 around, there's just none for sale. As the "mod" I guess, you can DM me if you're an artist and want something removed. Here's an example and something I've never seen online. The very first issue of Sof Boy by Archer Prewitt. Made in 1992 for a gallery show about comics that Prewitt was asked to be in. ***Also this board has the [ spoiler] [ /spoiler] tag so you can use that as not to make the pages really long and full of images.

ah! I cant get over the color too. do you have any idea how it was printed? Yeah I do own it, I just scanned it tonight. Fireproof Press wasn't a publisher but a printing spot in Kansas city. They used antique (even then) presses for everything they did. They did a bunch of band's (like the Coctails) artwork too. I'm no expert on printing but it's true CMYK color printing and as you can see the layers didn't always line up, adds to the charm. The second issue ( the red/yellow mini comic) was also printed by Fireproof (well there's also a second printing that wasn't too). You can read about Fireproof a bit here: www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1995-12-14-9512140040-story.html

I think there might be two printings of this—both produced by Fireproof Press—I own two copies, both with period inscriptions from AP. They’re identical with the exception of the front cover—one is a more pale blue (like the one you scanned) and the other is darker. I used to think the lighter one was sun-faded; however, after seeing yours, I’m now skeptical.

my conversation with Umwelt had me dig these one pagers form Dan Clowes / Gary Lieb / Terry LaBan they made while hanging out. I only own these six but they're pretty cool. In "Spuz" that character in the bottom right is so Clowes, love it.
