Newly announced for July from Floating World, a $25 collection of some of Carlos Gonzalez's older comics. From his Tumblr: It has ‘Steam Walkway’ (2010), ‘Micro Pitch’ (2012), ‘Shit Town’ (2012), ‘Lost Canyon’ (2013), ‘Star Power’ (2014), ‘Scab County’ (2015), ‘The Toy Collector’ (2021) and a little bonus material. I might have all of these (if Shit Town and Star Power were anthology pieces, which I'm unsure of) but surely of interest to some people here. Also it's cool when there's a short story collection of self-published zines, I feel like that doesn't happen too often these days.

I am a recent (super)fan of his so I don't have any of these, awesome.

Great news, I only have Scab County and The Toy Collector (which is one of my favorites).
Toybox Coffin is also reprinting an old mini of Carlos's called 'American Vortex' in May.

Ooh, that’s amazing news! I actually asked Eric from Fanta about the collected Sunday earlier, but seems like they are still waiting, so it will probably be at least another year or two.. can’t wait to go through the whole thing, though. The texting-in-the-bath scene still haunts me—he really committed to the bit this time! Also, I’m not sure if this book got delayed, but I’m very much looking forward to it: www.barnesandnoble.com/w/hello-adventure-alexis-nolla/1139318984Read a couple of his zines ages ago somewhere in Europe—the style is deceptively normie, but the stories were very funny and strange. And his new looser style is really lovely, hope there’s more of his work translated: www.instagram.com/alexis_nolla/?hl=en

Wow, I had no clue about that. Alexis Nolla is great. As you say, the style used to be very ligne claire which I don't often get super into but he is a good storyteller. I only know of his Apa Apa comics, had no clue he is (or is going to be) translated to other languages. very cool.
And yes, the latest drawing style he has is super nice. Here a pic from one of his latest zines, which he did for Halloween. It is a split with Mónica Estrada.

The new comics collection from Cornelius looks like it is gonna be fantastic. I am specially looking forward to getting and reading "Anti Reflux" by David Amram, which is part of that collection. I love his comics and art in general.

A mention of Now anthology somewhere on the Internet reminded me how much I am looking forward to reading Precious Rubbish by Kayla E. when that comes out from Fantagraphics (this or next year?). The article she wrote in TCJ #305 about her work and its relation to Little Lulu was very interesting. The dissonance between the art and the topic (childhood trauma and abuse) seemed a very interesting exploration in comics. I also read an excerpt of Precious Rubbish in Now #11 (and I think there's more in Now #12?). Pretty hard content, as expected, I am curious how the story will develop in long form.

~ This collection of Keizo Miyanishi's Ero-Guro from French manga publisher IMHO. I've been obsessed with whatever work of his I've been able to find scans of so it'll be nice to have it in book form even if I can't read it. Plus I know he was a strong influence on Suehiro Maruo.
~ The start of a new Guido Buzzelli line from Floating World. He's needed translating for a while, hope Domingos Isabelinho is satisfied with the translation and reproduction!
~I think Sherlock Time—Breccia's breakthrough comic—is next in Fanta's Breccia line. No info I can find online though.
