Surely it won't actually be that expensive??
I'm reading through Freddy Lombard atm and Comet of Carthage was amazing but the preceding ones were pretty bad.

Glad to see those Chaland books, but I like Serge Clerc much more. Regardless, I refuse to buy anything new from Humanoids as King Cunt Mark Waid will never get a cent from me.

I finally got that Young Albert book last year and wondered why it was so expensive online always. Then I learned it's huge and limited to like 500 copies, all numbered. Pretty dumb move. But whatever. I'm here for more Chaland. I got this book at angouleme and it's beautiful.

I've never read the first two, but I've read that the 1st Freddy Lombard was done basically one page a day with no editing as a kind of automatic writing exercise. Doesn't make it good, but might explain why it's bad.

would be nice if there was an in print, affordable paperback of Swinnerton, as he's so important but no one really gets a chance to read him. Glad this will exist, but wish there was a non $100 option.

Glacier Bay just launched a new kickstarter to help them get some upcoming books across the line. Some of their stuff veers a little too twee for my taste but they are doing some really worthwhile stuff and their production is great, think its definitely a publisher worth supporting. I am most excited about To The Sea but i backed a few of the books on offer
