I recently stumbled upon a Jim Rugg post where he offered up free 600 dpi screentone scans for download... www.patreon.com/posts/27971854Anyone know of other resources for free tones?

Clip Studio has a really strong screentone feature built in. You can just set a layer at a tone and draw in that tone.

Colin Panetta uploaded some scans of some Duoshade sheets. blog.mysterioustransmissions.com/post/168118988301/duoshade-photoshop-pattern-from-real-scansGrafix Duoshade is the chemical patterned paper that Roy Crane used for Buz Sawyer. I've been trying it out over a comic I made last year. It's been a lot of fun. Tricky to get the right sizing right. And I've ended quadrupling the scans next to each other for bigger pages but the edges of the sheets get misaligned a bit.

Anybody use physical screen tones? I've picked up a few from JenPens.com and Amazon (Deleter brand) and have tried them out once or twice. I'm thinking of doing a project where I use them occasionally. They are kind of pricey considering how quick you could go through them.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of an online retailer that sells them cheap, or in bundles.

here's some nice looking ding bats and graphic flourishes for anybody who wants to spice up a page or whatever www.peculiarmanicule.com/champion-dingbats/ if you throw em into photoshop size up the DPI and hit it with threshold they are very usable.
