Zippy the Pinhead, I read it every day on Bill Griffith's facebook because he usually has a worthwhile caption on it, and sometimes the comments are good. I have a facebook with just like 3 friends so I can read it there lol.

BubblesZine - I love the look of the zippy website though. Red yellow and green all the waykevinfong - Woah. This looks great too. Weird surface level similarities to Mr. Boop. So does this count as a sub-genre? These aren't your grandma's classic cartoon characters!!

Is anyone enjoying Birds of Maine? I love Deforge but find it basically illegible and impossible to enjoy in the online format.

I was hoping someone would suggest this! I just found this over the weekend, it's great. Mr. Boop is crazy too.

Stick Form. I hope there's a printed collection one day. This is exactly what I'm after! So much good stuff out there that the algorithm never gives me. Love this style and playful scale. Invigorating! As for Birds of Maine I know what you mean. This one seems especially opaque. I reckon it'll read good in book form and wouldn't begrudge Deforge the big Ignatz brick. Even though I think it would've been much funnier if Mr Boop had won.

Not just tooting Nick's horn here, but KINGLY is genuinely my favorite online comic currently running and easily one of my favorite comics of the last year. It's so great!

Is anyone enjoying Birds of Maine? I love Deforge but find it basically illegible and impossible to enjoy in the online format. I have tried both of DeForge's insta comics but the format makes them kind of unbearable. I bought the collection for Leaving Richard's Valley and enjoyed reading them that way. Birds of Maine especially feels formatted for books not Instagram.

DeForge took so little effort to format Birds Of Maine for insta. Like I get not wanting to adjust your art for instagram if you don't like the format but I just feel that if thats the case.. don't post it there? idk, I just don't see the point. When I've taken the time to open twitter on desktop and read a few of the strips I've enjoyed it - would've been cool to have it panel by panel on instagram.
Anyway, Marra's WWMBY is totally amazing. I love it so much. Its one of the things I've been reading where it feels like a collected version of this will fundamentally change the experience. Having the strip be so drawn out and waiting every day is a really interesting way to experience a story.

I was told Marra he should make WWMBY printed version a Page-a-Day calendar so people are encouraged to read it only one page a day. The pacing for the first year or so was just amazing.
