What are the comics you wish you could get your hands on but they are completely out of print and second hand copies are insanely expensive?
The first that comes to my mind - Dori Stories: The Complete Dori Seda
I have been able to read this via the copy in the public library, but I wish I could own a copy. Not only Seda's comics are great here, the accompanying texts/comics of her friends are also wonderful, and add a lot of context to better understand who Seda was.

All of Tezuka's Phoenix books are pretty pricey now. Only managed to grab two of them a long time ago. Frustratingly, the new Corto Maltese reprints are out of print now too and the last few volumes like Mu are all selling for a 100 aud or so. I suppose the big one I wanna hold is Panter's Inferno. But I think its just a matter of time til I fork out for it. Still. Wish all of these were just always in print!

I was really hoping we'd get a nice big hardcover collecting all of Moebius' Major Grubert material from Dark Horse but it seems like that line of reprints may have stalled. Perhaps a pandemic casualty?

There are a few categories here for me. First, books that would be perfect if reissued exactly as they originally appeared and that could be reissued.
Second, there are books that the author(s) seem opposed to having in print for some reason, like Mazzucchelli's Rubber Blanket material.
Finally, there are books that should to be reformatted in some way for a reprint. Carol Tyler's Soldier's Heart actually comes to mind here, though I think it's still in print. But I've heard from a few people that the spine on their copy barely adheres to the interiors, and that's definitely true for my copy. Makes it nearly impossible to read! So I'd love to have a version of that work that I could read without feeling like it might disintegrate. Another example is NBM or First Second's tiny editions of European material that deserves a larger trim size - and NBM is apparently doing exactly that with recent reissues of some Dungeon material?

I have my copies but it's criminal that Bakune Young hasn't been reissued. It's an incredible book that deserves a large audience.

I'd love to see a bunch of reprints from Breakdown Press: the earlier Klaus books and Ivor, Willumsen's Treasure Island (#1 has long been OOP), Ding Dong Circus, Hax by Lale Westvind, and the two early manga releases. The whole back catalog!

Perhaps a pandemic casualty? Yeah was really excited for the next volumes of the Moebius Library, not sure what's going on with that. I have all the slim paperbacks but I'm sure I'm missing some stuff.
Would love an oversized compendium of Paper Rodeo, a nice big handsome volume like that Brinkman Multiforce collection.

I'd really like to see Power Comic's poster boy- Jontar reprinted. Those guys really dug deep into the series and discovered a ton of interesting things about it's creation & it's all up on their youtube channel. Floating World already published Apocalypse 5000 & recently announced two more Power Comic title reprints, New York City Outlaws & The Red Bullet Comics Collection, so I figure it's only a matter of time before Jontar gets the same treatment. I hope they include both versions of the 2nd issue when that finally happens! I actually found Jontar #2 in a dollar bin yesterday at a comic & toy show here in Vancouver so I really REALLY want a reprint now! haha Attachments:

I loved Apocalypse 5000, yeah I hope to see them do more too. I've been curious about Jontar.

Would love to see the Jean Giraud Blueberry comics come back into print. I was fortunate enough to snag most of the Moebius Epic TPBs I was interested in back in the day before prices were so insane. I foolishly slept on nabbing those Graphitti Designs HCs though...

I mostly just want "collected editions" that gather, reprint & make accessible the small run things that can't be found in libraries. Hoping Breakdown does them because the Lala Albert, Leomi Sadler, and Joe Kessler collections are all stellar.
Some folks who come to mind: Patrick Kyle, Noel Freibert, Carlos Gonzalez, CF (a lot has happened since Mere), Nou (seems the 2dCloud book is never coming), Tommi Parish, Gabriel Corbera, and Jaakko Pallasvuo (non-Avocado Ibuprofen work). All have tons of (recent!) material that's just totally inaccessible outside of ~50 people who were lucky enough to buy it.

I didn't know Mazzucchelli didn't want Rubber Blanket reprinted. Do you know the reason why? I've been waiting for someone to collect his short stories since forever.

There's a couple of Koyama Press comics I wish would get a reprint, mainly Willumsen's comics (The Bradley of Him and Anti-gone).
I also hope that Fulgencio Pimentel will reprint Ceesepe's Los Vicios Modernos, though I talked to the editor and he said it was unlikely to happen as it was very costly to produce.
I also don't understand why Moore's Top 10 and Tom Strong are always oop when they are some of his best works.
