Holy cow A+++++ i'd love to hear brian talk a little about licencing these books. did you get the rights to publish all of kazuo's work in america, who did you contact to do this? how long has this process taken. if you don't mind sorta "letting the cat out of the bag" in terms of your process this would be a great bubbles article/abbreviated post on here. also the printing is just great. would love to know what press in canada you used how many you had to produce and the cost. either way amazing job.

Igaguri rocked my world. Very grateful to Bubbles, Holmberg & Sons bringing this into being. Seconding GHO's questions, would love to know more behind the scenes and what is next up to be published.
Baseball, judo... soccer?

I bought an ebay lot of late sixties/early seventies Showcase issues from DC, drawn by Mike Sekowsky, Jerry Grandenetti, Joe Kubert, and Bernie Wrightson. Not really what I normally check out but I admire people like Ken Parille who can appreciate and vibe with this sort of cartooning so hopefully I can get on the wavelength. It does seem like a lot of it is written and drawn by the same person so maybe that will help it read better.

I've been buying no new comics lately since pandemic kinda fucked up my career. Anybody else relate? Stuff I used to care about like collecting zines or minis just kinda...went away. I'm glad a have a library from the before times <3<3<3 thanks for posting some comic art here!

Yup, I'm consciously trying to move away from the habit of buying stuff just because it exists (and the "need" to keep my collection comprehensive after 40 years) I'd previously feel the urge to hoover up anything on the small-press shelves in Gosh that looked even remotely of interest or importance, but it's just not feasible in terms of finance or storage any more

Just ordered "Vermis"(the first one) by plastiboo from my LCS. Drawings I've seen on internet are haunting and the book looks interesting in a non-narrative way. (Though I have nothing against narrative and I'm not a gamer).
