I know I'm late to the game but I'm finally reading GENEROUS BOSOM and I'm *floored* by it. The art is incredible (unassumingly elegant colored pencil) and Stechschulte's direction is just mesmerizing. Everything's so disarming -- scenes drawn from bizarre angles, images drawn in overlay, hazy memories erased in devastating smudges. The story is upsetting and strange, the pacing builds an amazing sense of dread. It's the kind of dizzying ordeal that you just surrender to and let the author take you on a ride. Fanta's putting it all out in a single volume called ULTRASOUND. Comes out in May. There's a movie coming out based on it, too, starring Pete from Mad Men. Looks wild. Breakdown Press originally published the story in four volumes. I held off because Breakdown's availability was a little spotty for me at the time and one of the volumes sold out... but Stechschulte's shop has 4-packs you can buy for $65. I *highly* recommend. I'm sure Fanta's hardcover will be sharp but the originals are wonderful productions, some riso, some offset, all excellent. And he'll sign/personalize them for you if you ask!

I didn't get caught up until issue #4, but read them all and loved the whole thing. The first one is totally amazing, I love how untrustworthy everyone seems. There's a real vibe to it.
I'm very curious to see the movie, hope it's available soon. It's interesting that the last book and movie were somewhat made at the same time, I think it said something about that in the back of the book.
