In a different world, I'd collect every translation that sees print of all of my favorite cartoonists! Not so in this one, sadly, as those are particularly gorgeous editions. It breaks my heart to have missed two volumes of the Corto Maltese series for $6.99 each, but I've picked up the pieces enough to share Midtown's one-day sale going on today. There's a bunch of good stuff on there (and the list is too long for me to have read it all); right now, I'm looking at Carol Tyler's great book Soldier's Heart, normally $40, for $6.99.
