Extremely late to the game but I got issues 1, 5, 6, and 7 from Secret Headquarters and read them all today. Incredible comics. I have a tendency towards completionism, so missing out on 2-4 irks me, but I was still able to get a pretty coherent understanding of The Blood of the Virgin material I read, though I’m at a loss to connect that stuff to the first issue.
Wondering if Harkham was influenced by Shrauwen’s Sunday comics, considering that’s another big and poetic serial that has come out in the space between issues 6 and 7. The stories are similar in the way they handle the past bleeding into the present.
Blown away by the intro to this newest issue. Harkham’s handling of dark and horrific material reminds me of Josh Simmons’s comics; it never feels forced or like it’s meant to shock but just an inherent quality of life and the story.

I've never cried from reading a comic, but the first 10 pages from Crickets 7 had me balling my eyes out after reading it.
congrats to Sammy on making such a wonderful work. thanks to you all for alerting me that it came out <3

Harkham's insta story seems to allude to the existence of the Color Special...
If someone's got a line on where to order one, please clue me in!

I asked Harkham about where I could find copies of Crickets #7 in Europe and he told me to ask Secret Headquearters since they are the ones printing it. I imagine they are the ones also printing Color Special?

damn! okay need that.
Crickets 7 was great. I was under some impression that it was the last issue and with like 10 pages to go I was like "how will it end!?" I'm glad there'll be another Blood of the Virgin. I re-read them all before reading 7 and I was impressed with how it all flowed. Really good.
There's the side-story in Kramers 10, is there any other side-stories outside of Crickets that I'm forgetting? Also does that side story have any direct connection that I'm missing? Of course it takes place decades earlier and in the same universe.

Harkhams been pushing the sale of the Crickets 7 original art during that period. I'm guessing once he feels the hype has died down around this particular issue he'll roll out the new one.

Colour Special #1 is indeed out today! It's the Kramer's 10 story, FYI. It's so good if you've not read it yet.

The Kramers 10 story is one of my fave Harkham stories but I'm still kinda sad this isn't "new." For those who haven't read it... get it!
