While I still fail every Wednesday to find a comic I want to follow, I do find some new manga that's worth a follow (this and Asadora). I just read volumes 1-6 today and plan to read 7-8 tomorrow. I've been really into Blood on the Tracks. I've always been really uncomfortable with sociopaths (like the movie Scream) and so this story has been a wild ride emotionally for me.
Anyone who wants to catch up I recommend it. Each book only takes about 20 minutes to read and they sure are page turners!
8 volumes out in English so far, 12 out in Japanese, it's still running in Japan.
Anyone else reading the series? Any other Shūzō Oshimi I should check out?

I have volume 1 on order, with no idea when it will come in. I hear enough good things about it to check it out

You'll read that quickly and go "I gotta know what happens next!"

I am reading this series, but going slowly on it cause I get depressed every time I read one issue. I am too sensitive? dunno. Haha
I also read his series The flowers of evil. It felt very cringy at first but a friend recommended to keep going, that it would get better and it did.

Funny that you mention Scream, because that's one of my wife's favorite movies. And she isn't a big manga reader, but she saw Blood on the Tracks recommended on a podcast or YouTube channel recently and she's dying to read it now.

you can't go wrong with any work from Shūzō Oshimi, but i'm most eager to see how the western audience receives and interprets Welcome Back Alice.
