I need some ideas for a good drawing station. If I keep working hunched over my computer desk like this I'm definitely gonna develop some back problems.

I've had a kneeling chair at my drawing desk for a few years now. It looks stupid, it's awkward to get in/out of, and I have no idea whether it's actually helped with my posture/back -- which was the intention. But I'm very used to it at this point.
Beyond that, the things I've found most helpful in terms of drawing setup are: * cleaning carefully at the beginning/end of a project, but allowing my materials to be strewn about when I'm deep in the middle of something * a lightbox, both for it's intended purpose and because it lets me keep things (a sketchbook, more strewn about materials, etc) on the upper portion of my slanted desk

I too draw at a flat desk all day. I have a cutting board/cheese board that my girlfriend got as a gift. it looks like a home goods product. it's about 12" x 16" and less than a quarter inch thick. I prop it up on a big container of rubber cement. I like the board because it has a cork back so it doesn't slide all around. I'm sure it was ten dollars or something. Definitely helped my back a lot to prop up the drawings just a bit.

Mine looks like this: a table I can elevate. Glass, so I can shine a clamp light underneath it when I'm looking at lines to letter on. A desk lamp that I wish was way brighter than it is. A wacom tablet sitting on the floor behind all this that isn't getting much use. Attachments:

Here's where I do my comics. That lightbox was meant for animating on paper, but I use it for my comics work.

My drawing setup just includes my Wacom tablet and whatever local bookstore or library I choose to hang out in to work on my content.

I have a wobbly old drawing table from my Mom's college days, but my tools and whatnot are spread out on either side of it. I can keep ONE surface clean at a time.
