See here: www.copaceticcomics.com/posts/important-announcementI saw Bill B. from a distance at SPX and whitecomics later passed along this news after speaking with him. End of an era? Middle of an era? It seems newsworthy, regardless, as Bill Boichel has long shepherded maybe the best comic shop in the country. I'm sad not to be making it back up to Pittsburgh before the changeover in November, but I'll pass along a vital store report when I go around Thanksgiving.

Bill B is one of the all time greats! He let me change my daughter’s diaper on the floor at Copacetic back when it was in super tiny space in Squirrel Hill… didn’t bat an eye, we just kept talking about whatever it was we were talking about. I’d be a very different reader of comics if it weren’t for his influence

Nothing lasts forever, but happy to have been a part of it. Best store in America, and it has everything to do with Bill's amazing personality and love for comics.

It's good news! I'm trying to think of it as good news. I'm happy that Bill B found a way to continue his involvement with comics but scale things back a bit (he deserves to relax and slow down, I hope he will). I'm happy we get two stores when we once had one.
Copacetic was the first store to ever order my comics, and Bill's product descriptions of my work and many others are more insightful than many reviews. Truly one of the greats.
