Sad news that the Scottish underground cartoonist John Miller has died. I don't know how well known he was outside the UK, but he was very prolific when I was writing for Zum! in the mid-to-late 90s. Ed Pinsent wrote an appreciation of his work here a few years back, and his work has been collected in three volumes by Braw Books.

That's sad news - with Chris Reynolds last year, and now Miller, the UK has lost two of its more singular voices from the 80/90s in short succession.

No one like John Miller. He wore his influences and obsessions on his sleeve, yet created something wholly singular. A magical talent. Very sad.
