Xiang Yata's long awaited graphic novel is also on kickstarter, I'm excited for this one.

NYRC will publish in July Chantal Montellier's Social Fiction. I haven't read anything of hers yet, so I'm very much looking forward to this. The cover gives me some strong Pushwagner's Soft City vibes, btw.

There is a crowdfunding campaign for The Collected Doug Wright Vol. 2 (and as volume 1, it is edited and designed by Seth).

It seems I cannot stop posting on this thread. One more: 20 KM/H by Woshibai will be published by D&Q this spring (i think it was published earlier in France?) I discovered their work not very long ago and it is really something.

Psyched to hear 2dCloud will be putting out a zine and a book by Clair Gunther, (or at least they're planning on doing so, IDK if one really expect 2dCloud to actually put out any books, e.g. we have all been waiting on Lale's book for years) I think Clair's work is really special

She's so great, that one-sentence story about Samuel Johnson and the elms blew my mind back in the day. And the letter about 'cremains.' So many bangers. And her 2015 interview in Paris Review was one of the best, all that stuff about editing/translating is very relevant to comics. There's a few really great pieces in the first essay collection, about rewriting 'In a House Beseiged,' and Flaubert. She's a great gateway drug into Thomas Bernhard, too, and someone who manages to transport his influence instead of just imitating it, as is often the case.

I think that's great. And honestly the fans will get the book. I wish more people with bigger reaches did stuff like this.
