Hello Bubblers, I’m dropping by to ask you for you knowledge. My girlfriend just got a job as a literacy coach for kids labeled as 2E, which means they’re super gifted in and enthusiastic about certain things, like for example art or coding or whatever, along with tending to have behavioral issues.
So one of the kids that my girlfriend coaches LOVES comics, and she tells me his favorite is Garfield. So to get him more excited about reading, she’s looking for more comics (that are age-appropriate) that are available to pull up online to follow along with him. I’m not well-versed enough in that sphere to provide her an answer but I figure you guys might? So what have you forum?? Any good comics for kids out there that you could recommend?
She’s also not opposed to buying print!

Blue Skies is a good one. It's really got that newspaper strip vibe too. There's more available on Instagram and he's got a book or two available. If she has access to an online newspaper subscription, maybe through the school or library, you can access so many farms syndicated strips too. And I have to plug my own stuff because I tend to like fun cartoony stuff so that's mostly what I make and my elementary age niece and nephew like it. Would be more than happy to send along copies of my two books.
