I just discovered and ordered a few copies of the Slovenian comics mag- Stripburger, and wanted to share in case others would find it interesting. My review: It's great!
I got a few issues and have started to read through the issue that features all Italian comic makers. It includes lots of comics interspersed with interviews of creators. Really wonderful to experience as someone who doesn't know much about the European comics scene at all.
Enjoy!

I hadn't heard of it until a few weeks ago when somewhere here mentioned the issue with all the Taiwanese cartoonists (#77) so I picked that up and grabbed the one with the Schrauwen covers & interview, too. They just got here yesterday so I haven't dug in too much yet but they are definitely great and I can't believe I hadn't heard of them before! So many good things like this hiding out there...

Yeah- it seems oddly not talked about and has been around since the 90's. Why isn't this as well known as Kus for example? Seems like a magazine that Domino would carry for sure. I'm going to get more and will check out #77. I like the regional/country focus of some issues.

I've had Stripburger's webshop in a browser tab for weeks... and this post pushed me to buy a few issues (this webforum is quickly becoming Cartoonist Kayfabe 2.0 for my bank balance...)

In Europe they are as famous as kuš (or that's my idea) but I guess kuš! has focused more on the international/North American market, for example with those volumes guest-edited by Annie Koyama and Gabe Fowler, etc.
