With the latest chapter of Josh Simmons’s Bat stories now out, I’m wondering if anyone has a copy of The Mark of the Bat available. Lemme know! It's also reprinted in his "Flayed Corpse" collection if that helps!

it seems crazy to me these nancy collections didn’t sell well enough to finish the run or keep in print?? my dad recently gave me his copy of Nancy Is Happy and it’s probably the only way I’d have got a copy. Been working at used bookstores for years and never seen em come in.

I picked up the Hollow Press's Multiforce. It's a big book but I almost wish it was bigger. The tiniest text is still hard to read on a few pages. Still I am glad I got it because I probably won't come a crossed the original printing. Thanks once again for letting me know it was still in stock.

in search of Sunday 1+2 and Powr Mastrs 1 hit me up! Also seeking SNAKE EYES #1, the Glenn Head-edited Fanta anthology from 1990. Got #2 and #3, they're great.

Plenty of obscure paper that I'm after but, as I just missed a couple of long-time wants in a shop drop post today, I figure I might as well pop my remaining (and not particularly obscure) 'needs' from my Heavy Metal mag chase here: 1977: Jun, Jul 1978: May, Nov 1979: May, Jun 1981: Jul, Sep, Dec 1985: Bride of Heavy Metal special Yes, I'm aware that most can be found on the 'Bay at premium pricing... but any offers or leads with friendly price-tags would be most appreciated! I've a short stack of dupes available for trade as well, if that helps. Happy hunting in '22 to all! EDITED thanks to grubcubman ruling!

Have you looked at the Heavy Metal issues that Domino posted today? Edit: they definitely have a few issues you're looking for

Have you looked at the Heavy Metal issues that Domino posted today? Edit: they definitely have a few issues you're looking for Much appreciated, the both of you, but I can't shift my brain to spending $47 shipped for the same two issues that I missed here yesterday for $5 a piece. More significantly, I couldn't afford to even if I could shift the thinking! Not knocking Austin's pricing, I should add - all the mags are in the comfortable range of being more than I care to/can spend and way less than many speculators on the 'Bay are trying to get. As I mentioned to a couple of friends today, at least by handing him the money, any profits would be going directly towards subsidizing the arts! The magazines themselves would be like receiving the best NPR branded tote bag and umbrella set ever in exchange for the donation, ha. That said, Austin, baby... If they don't sell in the next few weeks [ED: They will!], feel free as a bird to reach out with an offer! Put me down for November '77, too; my copy is missing the cover!

This one could easily go into Reissue This Book!, too, but I'd love to be able to find a copy of Sunday Press' Krazy Kat: A Celebration of Sundays for something like cover price. Yeah, the TASCHEN book is out there, and the new run from Fanta is perfectly lovely so far, but Maresca's treatments of everything he sets his interests on is wholly unparalleled. No other modern books in my collection help me to span time like my short row of SPs.

Good luck in your search - I feel for you! They do pop up on eBay sometimes. And this guy's accepting offers! Some of the craziest books in my collection came from long-shot offers where the seller was like "yeah sure I guess that works"...

I've definitely brought home some beauties by the long-shot method before, but for some reason I've never reached out to any of the Krazy-havers with crazy prices. Last one I need for the library so I might as well start. Isn't Nix wonderful? Might be my favorite, but I probably feel that way about any of them that I have spread open in front of me at the time.

Lately it's Ex.Mag vol. 2 "PARANORMAL ROMANCE: Cross My Heart" from Peow Studio. Anyone no longer reading their copy? It's not rare or in high demand but I can't find it anywhere.
Also Jane Mai minis

Gosh Nix is wonderful, but it's so hard to pick a favorite from Sunday Press. Thimble Theatre had me cracking up page after page, and Little Joe was such a joy and so engrossing. I hope they announce a new book soon. Wild to think Milt Gross came out in Nov 2020... it's been over a year! But I wonder if paper shortages / book binder issues / supply chain stuff has stalled things...
