haha it's a mystery on purpose, anonymous artist, just a collection of drawings and short comics. i've never seen one in the wild before, only heard about it through folk lore. i grabbed one, hope it doesn't suck!

A few sales are up now: WowCool has 30% off everything, D&Q has 20% for two books or more (and, notwithstanding the many valid critiques posted about it here, has published at least a few of the year's best books), and Midtown Comics has marked various things down to $6.99 (including some of the good d&q books...).

They often have crazy discounts that last just a day or two (think they had the Mike Golden AE for like $75.00 a few weeks back) but I always miss them. What's the deal? I have an account there but do they have a discount notification or something? Also, their search function is literally the worst I have ever seen. |

I just google "in stock trades [book title]" to find stuff. I don't think they have a newsletter or anything. I found out about this on the Marvel Masterworks forum. It's all a mystery to me! |

* Almost half off the Little Nemo book

Not cheap cheap, but for the next four days you can land some pretty excellent big-ass bricks over at TASCHEN for half-off or better. Been waiting on a price drop on that Fantastic Four collection since before it was published, and I'm considering trying to sell some plasma for that EC monster. Free ship over $50 and, in the case of my addy, no sales tax charged.
